Campaign donations fuel UWHC’s ability to provide reliable Community Fund grants to these Partner Agencies in three priority program funding areas.
Amherst Family Center
Increases UMass and other Center families’ access to and awareness of resources, including educational and enrichment opportunities.
Berkshire Children & Families
Provides comprehensive parenting, family literacy, educational childcare, intensive foster care and adoption services to strengthen families and interrupt cycles of poverty.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County/CHD
Helps young people achieve their potential through One to One mentoring relationships with professionally supported adults; outreach to their families and creating community enrichment opportunities.
The Carson Center for Human Services
Under Five Thrive Parent and Child program offers wraparound care and childcare services to pregnant and parenting young people seeking their GEDs or employment.
Collaborative for Educational Services
Strong Foundations for Young Children (SFYC) nurtures the healthy social, emotional and cognitive development of very young children in Easthampton and Ware through four family-centered strategies that are designed to be preventative, address needs early on, and engage families.

Hilltown Community Health Centers
Provides parent education, home visiting, counseling and consultation, playgroups, support groups, and other comprehensive preventative interventions to Hampshire County Hilltown families with children ages 0-6 to ensure good parenting practices and healthy families.
Cutchins Program for Children & Families
Provides clinically sophisticated, radically respectful care to families, children and adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Friends of Children
Assures the needs of individual at-risk children are met through volunteer-based advocacy and mentoring programs and promotes public systems changes to better benefit children.
Girl Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts
Develops girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Hampshire Regional YMCA
All of the Hampshire Regional YMCA's programming, hiring, and volunteer recruitment is focused around the four core YMCA values: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Hitchcock Center for the Environment
Develops environmentally literate citizens through interdisciplinary approaches that use the study of science and nature as a means to solve human problems.
Provides year-round childcare services, including options for pre-school through eighth grade, before and after-school care, professional days, public school vacations and summer camps.
American Red Cross, Pioneer Valley Chapter
Maintains trained volunteers and material resources to respond to disasters and helps people be prepared for emergencies in their homes and communities.
Behavioral Health Network
Behavioral health services, including crisis intervention/stabilization, medication clinic, therapy, consultation, day treatment, residential/support services, and advocacy for people living with behavioral and developmental challenges.
A unique work out and wellness center serving people of all mental and physical abilities with a focus on improving the fitness and health high risk populations.
Highland Valley Elder Services
Offers services to provide support, protection and security for elders, their families and caregivers in the settings of their choice.
Hilltown Community Development Corporation
Affordable housing development and rehabilitation; elder services; first time homebuyer assistance; small business training, and community facilities planning targeted to lower income Hilltown residents.
Hilltown Community Health Centers, Inc.
A federally-qualified facility providing affordable comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health, laboratory, pharmacy and outreach wellness and support services for all hill town residents.
Services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter; individual counseling and support groups; legal referrals and representation; counseling for children; and community outreach.
Stavros Center for Independent Living
Helps persons with disabilities achieve and sustain independence by providing the resources and advocacy necessary to change their lives and our communities.
YWCA of Western Massachusetts
Provides shelter and support services to battered women and children, pregnant and parenting teens, at-risk youth, children who witness violence and victims of sexual assault.
Amherst Survival Center
Provides food, health care, clothing and community for low-income and homeless residents of Hampshire & Franklin counties through volunteer efforts.
Committed to promoting and supporting Latino empowerment by providing access to services and facilitating collective action for social change among members of the Latino community.
Center for New Americans/The Literacy Project—a collaborative program
Promotes the economic independence of low-income immigrants, migrants and under-educated Americans through a coordinated and co-located continuum of learner-centered, adult education programs including ESOL, adult literacy, employment skills and technology classes along with wrap-around support services.
Community Action of the Franklin Hampshire and North Quabbin Region
Through its UWHC-funded Resource Center supports Hampshire County residents with urgent, unmet basic needs to regain and build financial stability.
Community Legal Aid
Free civil legal services for low-income people in western Massachusetts with problems involving housing, domestic violence and family, employment, benefits, health care and immigration.
Easthampton Community Center
Provides food pantry, clothing closet, educational and recreational activities and programs to enrich the lives of area citizens in need.
Housing & Shelter Programs/ServiceNet
Provides shelter, housing, clinical treatment, mental health recovery, and homecare services to TBI and DD individuals, homeless people, youths, substance abusers and crime victims.
Shelter and supportive services to the homeless individuals and families and people at-risk of homelessness.
Northampton Survival Center
An emergency food provider and referral service for Hampshire County, with food pantries in Northampton & Goshen.
Provides a wide range of social services including emergency-based utility/fuel assistance, clothing, furniture, prescription and rental arrearage.
Valley Community Development Corporation
Develops affordable housing in addition to providing first-time homebuyer assistance including pre- and post-purchase counseling and technical assistance to start-up or existing small businesses.
